Artist Bio

Colie Taylor has been an artist for as long as she can remember. Her passion for art led her to study at CU Boulder, where she earned a minor in art history alongside her teaching degree. After spending several years nurturing young creativity as a Kindergarten-5th grade art teacher, Colie transitioned to a full-time artist following the birth of her son, Briggs.

Colie’s work blends her love of painting and a realistic style with innovative mixed media and text art. Her commitment to taking risks and pushing herself as an artist shines through in each piece she creates. Colie is dedicated to continuously evolving her craft, always exploring new ways to express her artistic vision.
